Welcome to Giuseppe, our new PhD student!
We are excited to welcome Giuseppe Arbore, who joined the e-Lite research group as a PhD student on March 1, 2026!
Giuseppe is beginning his PhD in Computer and Control Engineering (41st cycle), supervised by Luigi De Russis with the collaboration of Tommaso Calò from the IT University of Copenhagen.

Giuseppe has a background in software engineering and human-computer interaction, having recently completed his MSc in Computer Engineering at Politecnico di Torino. For his master's thesis, he developed DigiZen, an LLM-powered mobile app for digital wellbeing that goes beyond simple screen-time tracking, offering personalised recommendations, daily micro-goals, and motivational feedback to help young adults build healthier digital habits without imposing rigid restrictions.
In line with this work, Giuseppe's doctoral research focuses on human-centred AI, specifically on how end users can meaningfully guide and personalise the behaviour of agentic interfaces.
Welcome to the e-Lite group, Giuseppe! 🚀
